In Unplanned, Impromptu, Extemporaneous Message, Daniel Whyte III Again Advises President Trump to Publicly Admit his Sins and Apologize for Them; Preaches the Gospel to the President and Others

Daniel Whyte III did not intend to preach this message. He planned on preaching on the temptation of sloth and laziness in the Onward Christian Soldiers Discipleship Class series. As he always does when reading the key Scripture passage, he asked the people to stand. After reading the passage, God led him to give this unplanned, impromptu, and extemporaneous message, before moving directly into sharing the Gospel. He also shared a short speech as an example of what President Trump should have said two to three weeks ago. It is probably too late to give that speech now. The congregation stayed standing throughout the entire impromptu message.

This unplanned, impromptu, and extemporaneous message was transcribed from the audio as there were no written notes for this message.

1 Corinthians 10:13: says, “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”

Obviously, temptation is a big problem. You can ask President Trump. You can ask Harvey Weinstein. You can ask former FBI Director Comey. You can ask Attorney Cohen. You can ask Stormy Daniels. You can ask Charlie Rose. You can ask Tavis Smiley. You can ask every red-blooded man. And you can ask every red-blooded woman. Temptation is a problem. But God says in his word, “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man.” Stop thinking that your temptation is special; it is not.

I feel sorry for our president today because I gave him some advice two or three weeks ago. I told him to tell the truth. Just be honest. And it is hard for him to do that regarding the Stormy Daniels situation. I don’t know how much he has at stake if he told the truth. But it does not matter. The truth always wins — particularly if you do it with self-deprecating humor. I told him to just come clean and I told his advisers to tell him, “Just be honest. Go on national television. Do what Clinton did not do, and that is tell the truth.”

What President Trump should have said two to three weeks ago is: “Ladies and gentlemen, back in those days when I was not your president, when I saw a woman like Stormy Daniels, I was very tempted. And back in those days, before I was born again and saved, led by one of my advisers to the Lord, quite frankly, I was like Daniel Whyte III when he was not saved, when he said he thought it was a sin not to go after a beautiful woman like Stormy Daniels.”

(That ought to be a warning to all of us men: Do not mess with a woman named Stormy. President Trump was right when he told her, “You are a woman to be reckoned with.”)

President Trump should have said, “Quite honestly, in the state of mind that I was in, not being a Christian at the time and set in my ways, I will say to you that it would have been very hard for most of you men to not want to lay your head on those pillows. It would have been very hard for most of you men not to go after that beautiful woman. And I admit it was hard for me. And I committed a sin that I am ashamed of now. I am asking God to forgive me. I am asking my wife to forgive me. I am asking my children to forgive me. And I am asking the nation to forgive me. I am sorry, and I promise you, I will never touch another woman while I am president except for my beautiful wife, Melania.”

That’s what he should have said two to three weeks ago. It’s probably too late now to say that.

“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man, but God is faithful who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able, but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.” I don’t care who you think you are, lying is never the way. People will despise you, not because of your temptations, not because you failed, but they will despise you eventually — even the ones who supported you — if you have told them a lie to their faces. We don’t necessarily condemn President Clinton because of his dalliances and adultery. What we will never forget is how he lied to our faces, and then had to come back and admit that he had lied.

So, we still encourage our present president that those days of lying have to end. You are claiming to be a Christian now. You are aligning yourself with Bible-believing Christians. Do not shame those Christians who have voted for you and stood with you by looking them in the eye and telling them a lie. Get on television tonight and admit you did it before this goes any further. Just spill the beans. Be human. Everybody understands being tempted by Stormy. I love God and I’ve been saved longer than you, Mr. President. I love Jesus. I preach the Gospel nearly every day. But I’m even tempted with Stormy Daniels myself. We understand. Just tell the truth. Come clean. Be transparent.

Even as a Christian, Mr. President, you will be tempted to put forth your hand towards evil when it comes down to beautiful women like that. But Christ will help you, God will help you. You have some preachers around you who will help you.

And, make no mistake about it, I would rather have a president who is tempted with beautiful women than a president trying to turn God’s world upside down by promoting to the world homosexuality and homosexual marriage.

Here’s what you need to hear, Mr. President. Ask one of your preacher friends to sing that song called “Yield Not to Temptation” in one of the Bible studies you have. It’ll help you. “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man…” Common to man. We all go through it. We have some who will lie and say they are not tempted with beautiful women. But they are — yes, Christian men, preachers. They won’t say anything till they get caught. I don’t believe any preacher who says he’s never been tempted with another woman. Dr. John Piper is the only one I believe when he says that. You might want to talk with him, Mr. President. And I believe him because he has been so honest and transparent about many other things. I might believe a couple others, but not many.

“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man, but God is faithful who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able, but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”

And with that, my beloved, if you were to die today, where would you go — Heaven or Hell? I have so much more to say, but God wants me to seal it right there. Do you know Jesus Christ as your Savior? Mr. President, if Dr. Robert Jeffress, Dr. Jack Graham, Dr. Harry Jackson, these great men of God — if they have not introduced you to Jesus Christ, allow me to do that today.

Jesus Christ said in John 3:16: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” The Bible says, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved.”

Mr. President, contrary to what you said earlier, you do need to confess your sins. You do need to understand that you are a sinner just like everybody else. And that understanding will help save your presidency. You are no better than anyone else. God has blessed you tremendously throughout your life — evidently with good parents, financial blessings, material blessings, the ability to get things done. God has been very good to you. Just like my mother told me many years ago. She said, “Son, God has been good to you.” Mr. President, God has been good to you, but please understand that you are a sinner. The Bible says, we all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”

Because of our sin, there is a punishment. The Bible makes it very clear “the wages of sin is death.” We die physically because of sin and we die spiritually because of sin and go to Hell if we never trust Christ as Savior. The body goes to the grave; the spirit goes to Hell. I have never heard you say that you have made a profession of faith in Christ, but I have heard others say that you have done so. I hope that that is the case. And, yes, for an older Christian, living as you have lived, getting saved late in life, it’s going to take a while to grow. That is the case for all of us.

I do want to thank you for supporting Christians and the things we want done. Thank you for supporting Israel. And we thank you for all of the good things that you have done that we as Christians voted you in for — even though I did not vote for you, Mr. President. I didn’t vote for anybody. As a man of God, as a prophet of God if you will, as an evangelist, I am neutral. I must be able to preach the Gospel and the Word of God to everybody, even you. God has blessed you with some great men of God who are surrounding you as pastors. I am not a pastor. I have a different calling. I did not vote for you. I did not vote for Hillary Clinton. I did not vote for Barack Obama. I did not vote for George Bush. That’s not what I do. I’m neutral. I’m here to help you to get saved from Hell. And I want you to do well, just as I wanted all of the other presidents to do well. (I prayed for all of the previous presidents by name since Reagan, in most cases every day since 1979-1980 when I trusted Christ as Savior.)

The wages of sin is death. We die physically because of sin. We die and go to Hell if we do not trust Christ as Savior because He paid our sin debt. Yes, once you trust Christ as Savior all of the sins of the past will be under the blood of Christ. Thank God we live in a nation that, if you come clean, if you tell the truth, if you admit that you are human like the rest of us, we have a nation that will forgive you. Even some liberals will say, “Leave the man alone.”

The Bible says in Romans 10:9 & 13 says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved… For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Now, the truth is, Mr. Trump, as I am sure you will admit, you have done many things in your life that cause you to deserve eternal hell like the rest of us. You have admitted committing adultery, kissing on women without an invite, grabbing them by the vagina, and dirty locker room talk. And we all have done similar things, including myself. And we all deserve hell.

I want you to understand that Jesus Christ is the Lamb of God who took away the sin of the world, and all you have to do is believe on Him, and pray and ask Him to save your soul and change your life. I guarantee you that God will bless your life and do some wonderful things.

First, He will help you to be more humble and more submissive to His Word and His Will. Mr. President, quite frankly, you need a little bit of that. And I am telling you this because God loves you most of all. And because of God’s love in my heart, I love you and I want the best for you. I want you to do well. You did well on Friday night by bombing the hell out of Assad and his chemical arsenal. And most people who have sense appreciate what you did — second time around, showing yourself to be a man who cares about others.

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, Mr. President. Trust Jesus as Savior. Here’s what Dr. Graham, Dr. Jeffress, and Dr. Harry Jackson want you to do. They love you and they want the best for you. They probably will not tell you this, but they want you to start acting like a Christian gentleman, being humble, admitting that you are wrong and that you have done some things wrong. This is the kind of stuff that almost caused Bill Clinton to lose his presidency. Not the adultery, not the fornication, not the desire for beautiful women. We understand. But what we will not understand as Christians is your lying to us and to the world.

“Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou (President Donald J. Trump) shall be saved.” “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Humble yourself down, Mr. President. Bow down on your knees to Jesus and receive Jesus into your heart for real. And start acting like it by getting on television, even while Comey is talking about you tonight, before your attorney goes to court tomorrow morning at ten o’clock. Save him a whole lot of trouble, a whole lot of pain, a whole lot of embarrassment, and possibly jail time, by just coming clean. Set up a fund for the ladies who are going to come running for more money. God has blessed you with the money. You need to pay for these sins and how you dissed these women. I know they did it willingly, but you need to be bigger than that. Go ahead and set up a fund — not $130,000, because they are not going to settle for that. Go ahead and cough up $1.5 million or something like that and then they will leave you alone. Apologize and move on with your life and have a great presidency. You have what it takes. We’re praying for you.

Now bow your head, Mr. President and ask Jesus Christ to save your soul. Ask God to forgive you of all of your sins. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and receive Him into your heart. And God will save you and change your life, even at seventy-plus.

Let’s pray together: Holy Father God, I acknowledge that I am a sinner, and I admit that I have broken your ten commandments. I have told lies before. I have committed adultery before. I have lusted after people and things. I have even stolen things. For Jesus Christ sake, please forgive me of all of my sins, as I now believe with all of my heart in the Lord Jesus Christ, that He died for my sins, was buried, and rose again. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and save my wretched soul. Fill me with your Holy Spirit and help me to repent of all of my sins past, and to turn from my wicked ways and to follow you in the new life. In Jesus Christ’s name I pray and for His sake, Amen.

Now, Mr. President and others, if you think I set out to preach this message to President Trump today, you would be woefully deceived. The people that I asked to stand up to read the Word of God are still standing as I speak. They normally sit down after I read the Word of God. I never intended to preach this message, but evidently, God wanted me to preach it.

Now, Mr. President and others, if you believed in your heart that Jesus Christ died on the Cross for your sins, was buried, and rose again, allow me to say, congratulations on doing the most important thing in life and that is trusting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour and receiving Him into your heart! For more information to help you grow in your newfound faith in Christ, go to Gospel Light Society.com and read my pamphlet titled, “What To Do After You Enter Through the Door.” Jesus Christ said in John 10:9, “I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.”
